GRAND FORKS, N.D. – No. 3 North Dakota remains home for the final time in October for a top-10 showdown against No. 8/7 Quinnipiac on Friday night at 7:07 p.m. from Ralph Engelstad Arena.

Both games can be heard on 96.1 FM (The Fox), the flagship station of UND hockey.

Friday’s game can be seen on Midco Sports with Alex Heinert and Jake Brandt calling the action. Taylor Budge and Erik Fabian join the crew as the pregame, intermission and postgame hosts. Fans can also watch online through NCHC.tv with a subscription.

Friday marks the seventh all-time meeting between North Dakota and Quinnipiac, with UND holding a 5-1-0 advantage in the series.

The two teams met last season in Hamden, Conn. for the first time, splitting the series. QU bolted out to a 5-2 victory on Friday before UND responded with a 3-1 win on Saturday.

Friday marks the first meeting in Grand Forks since Oct. 6-7, 2006 when the Fighting Sioux swept the Bobcats behind Jonathan Toews’ hat trick on Saturday.
