(Pierre, SD) — South Dakota is considered one of the least politically engaged states in the nation. That’s according to a new study by financial website “WalletHub.” It compared ten key indicators of political engagement, including percentage of registered voters in the last presidential election. South Dakota comes in at number 47, followed by Alabama, West Virginia and Arkansas. The most politically engaged state is Maryland.
