Wild Lose Season Opener

(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Wild weren’t able to slow down the Rangers in a 7-3 season opening loss at the Xcel Energy Center. The Wild gave up three goals in the first period and couldn’t mount a comeback. Matt Boldy scored twice in the losing effort. The loss is Minnesota’s first season-opening defeat since 2019. The 0-1-and-0 Wild host the Kings tomorrow night.
