(Bismarck, ND) — Severe drought conditions have eased a bit in North Dakota but emergency management officials are urging residents to use caution if doing any kind of burning. Burning hasn’t been banned in the state but there are still high risk areas. According to today’s U.S. Drought Monitor there are parts of seven counties, mostly northeast, rated abnormally dry. Fifteen counties, mostly in the west, are experiencing severe drought conditions with the rest of the state in a moderate drought.
