First Responders Save Pilot After Crash In Badlands National Park

(Scenic, SD) — A pilot is safe after an aircraft crash in Badlands National Park. A Facebook post by Pennington County Search and Rescue says the aircraft went down Friday afternoon in the area of Sheep Mountain Table. First responders located the downed plane in a ravine and descended about 230 feet to rescue the pilot. The pilot wasn’t injured.
