(Vermilllion, SD) — The University of South Dakota is celebrating its new Center for Health Education. The center opened earlier this year, offering state-of-the-art labs and technology to health sciences majors. President Sheila Gestring recently told KELO-TV that students get can more hands-on learning experience with the equipment that hospitals and clinics are using on the job. USD’s health care education program continues to grow with the new facility. A new nurse anesthetist program is being offered in the spring.
