Health Officials Warning Of Increasing RSV Cases

(Fargo, ND) — Health officials are warning of increasing RSV cases in North Dakota. Officials say cases of the respiratory virus are showing up earlier in the season than usual and are leading to more hospitalizations. The virus typically causes cold-like symptoms, but tends to be more serious in young children and the elderly. Health officials say the best ways to prevent the spread of RSV are good hand washing, covering coughs and sneezes, and avoiding kissing babies.
