Report Ranks ND 3rd, SD 5th In Voting Power

(Pierre, SD) — A new Wallethub report ranks North Dakota third and South Dakota fifth in voting power. Analyst Jill Gonzalez said both state’s population of less than one-million people means resident’s votes are amplified and have more power than voters in very populated states. The report ranks Wyoming and Vermont at one and two with Alaska rounding out the top five. Arizona came in dead last.
