Wolves Fall Short Against San Antonio

(San Antonio, TX) — The Minnesota Timberwolves nearly came back to beat the San Antonio Spurs in a 107-98 loss at AT&T Center. The Timberwolves were down by 19 in the third quarter but got within three points early in the fourth. However, Minnesota struggled to score throughout the rest of the final frame. Karl-Anthony Towns led the Wolves with 26 points in the losing effort. The loss snaps Minnesota’s two-game winning streak. The 4-and-3 T-Wolves are at Phoenix tomorrow night.
