(Eddy County, ND) — A farmer is facing charges in connection with a hunting dispute that went viral on social media. Jeffrey Erman is charged with trading in special influence, disorderly conduct, and interference with rights of hunters and trappers. Erman confront Jacob Sweere and several other hunters October 21st, accusing them of hunting on his land. Sweere took video of the farmer swearing at them and telling them they could pay 300-dollars to hunt on his land. Sweere says he and his friends had permission from neighboring farmers to be on their land. Hunter Dustin Wold was charged with criminal trespass. Video of the confrontation has already been viewed one-point-seven million times.
