Sioux Falls Woman Charged With Murder, Arson After Fire

(Sioux Falls, SD) — A Sioux Falls woman is facing charges four months after a deadly apartment fire. Gerri Jensen was arrested yesterday afternoon and charged with first-degree murder, attempted murder, and first-degree arson. The blaze happened in July at an apartment building in the 200 block of North Grange Avenue. Authorities say 53-year-old Charice Admire was taken to the hospital and died the next day from her injuries. Police said in September that the suspect in the case hadn’t been arrested yet because she was being treated for fire-related injuries.
