(Minneapolis, MN) — Republican Tim Walz is the projected winner in the Minnesota race for Governor. NBC News reports Walz will defeat Republican Scott Jensen. Walz has served as Governor of Minnesota since 2019.

The GOP had been looking to flip the seat in a bid to retain control of the House. Legal Marijuana Now candidate Paula Overby died last month, but her name was still on Tuesday’s ballot.
