Wild Lose In Shootout

(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Wild blew a two-goal lead in the third period en route to a 3-2 loss to the San Jose Sharks at the Xcel Energy Center. Freddy Gaudreau and Connor Dewar both scored to give Minnesota a 2-0 lead, but the Wild surrendered two goals in the final seven minutes of regulation. Minnesota managed just one goal in the five-round shootout, and Alexander Barabanov walked it off for San Jose. The Wild are now 7-6-and-2, and they visit Nashville tomorrow night.
