(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Timberwolves are bringing some depth into their back-court. The Wolves signed guard AJ Lawson to a two-contract yesterday. Lawson originally signed a two-way deal with the team in late July, but he was waived by Minnesota in October. He’s been playing with the College Park Skyhawks in the G-League this season, and he’s averaging 22-point-three points and six-and-a-half rebounds in four games. Lawson and the Timberwolves visit the Magic on Wednesday.
