Rapid City Elementary Teachers To Test Two Sets Of Math Curriculums

(Rapid City, SD) — Elementary teachers in the Rapid City Area Schools district will be testing two sets of math curriculums in the classroom. An RCAS committee made up of administrators, teachers, and instructional coaches voted yesterday to use curriculums from McGraw-Hill and Origo in pilot programs early next year. The curriculums are being considered as options to replace the current teaching resources, which have been in use for seven years. One of several open house review sessions is set for January 17th.
