Fentanyl Use On The Rise In Minot

(Minot, ND) — Minot police say fentanyl use is on the rise in the city. The CDC reports that fentanyl and other synthetic opioids are the main cause of overdose deaths. Fentanyl is reported to be far more potent than morphine or heroin. The North Dakota Drug Immunity Act allows individuals to receive emergency medical attention for an overdose without being charged with a crime.
