Box Elder Center For Activity As Ellsworth Prepares For B-21

(Box Elder, SD) — The city of Box Elder is a center for activity as Ellsworth Air Force Base prepares to house the B-21 Raider. Mayor Larry Larson says nine housing areas are being built and plans are underway for a children’s museum. Other infrastructure plans are underway, including plans for child care as thousands of people are expected to move to the area in the next ten years. The B-21 Raider was unveiled Friday in California.
