(Sioux Falls, SD) — Sioux Falls School District will be expanding its after school programs. The district said its an important step as the city continues to grow. The expansion will focus on making the programs more accessible. The district’s Rebecca Wimmer tells Dakota News Now there’s about 48-hundred elementary aged kids without access to after-school programs. The district will work with community organizations like EmBe, YMCA, Boys and Girls Club and Volunteers of America to expand the programs.
