(Missoula, MT) — Montanans are getting more access to hunting and hiking opportunities in the western part of the state. The Bureau of Land Management announced earlier this month it acquired more than 65-hundred acres along the Blackfoot River. It’s the final phase of the Ninemile-Woodchuck parcel acquisition that started earlier this year. This brings the total to 37-thousand acres that used to be private timber land in the Blackfoot water shed.
