Water Access Affected On Pine Ridge Reservation

(Pine Ridge, SD) — Water access is being affected on the Pine Ridge Reservation. A water restriction is in place through Friday for much of the reservation after heavy snow has limited access to water operations. Residents of the reservation were snowed in last week, with some having to burn clothes to stay warm after heating fuel and firewood ran out. Access to the reservation is beginning to return.
