Dept. Of Revenue To Continue Printing Paper Titles

(Pierre, SD) — The Department of Revenue plans on printing paper titles again soon. It’s a supply-chain problem that’s been affecting motor vehicle operations in South Dakota for several months. The department uses a special paper that has built-in security features to help prevent fraud. It’s on track to receive an updated shipment of the paper in late January and could resume printing titles by mid-February.
