(Englewood, CO) — Russell Wilson’s teammates are standing up for him as he continues to face criticism. Wide receivers Jerry Jeudy and KJ Hamler took to social media Thursday to defend their quarterback in the wake of negative comments from former Broncos tight end Shannon Sharpe. Jeudy tweeted that he never had a teammate that motivated him more, while Hamler tweeted Wilson goes above and beyond to do whatever it takes to win. Wilson agreed to a five-year, 225-million-dollar contract extension with the Broncos in September. Denver is last in the AFC West at 4-and-11 and visits the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
