Escaped Missouri River Correctional Center Inmate Found

(Bismarck, ND) — An inmate from the Missouri River Correctional Center is facing new charges after escaping from the facility. Officials say 41-year-old Trevis Tessaro walked away from the facility yesterday evening. Tessaro was found a few hours later by North Dakota Highway Patrol Troopers at a nearby gas station. He was taken to the State Penitentiary and will be charged in Burleigh County today with escape. He was serving nearly three years at MRCC for criminal mischief and domestic violence before walking away.
