Wild Collapse In Third Period

(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Wild gave up three goals in the third period of their 4-1 loss to the Dallas Stars at the Xcel Energy Center. Kirill Kaprizov scored in the first period to tie the game at one, but Minnesota surrendered an early third-period goal to Wyatt Johnston and was never able to get back into the game. The Wild were outshot 43-24 in the losing effort. Minnesota remains in third place in the Central Division with 42 points and a 20-13-and-2 record. The Wild visit St. Louis tomorrow.
