(Minot, ND) — The man charged with fatally shooting another man early Friday morning outside of Minot’s Lamplighter Lounge is in custody on a two-million-dollar bond. Police say 34-year-old Justin McDermott faces a felony murder charge after he allegedly shot and killed a man in the bar’s south parking lot around 1:30 a.m. The victim was declared dead at the scene. Lounge officials say a patron knocked McDermott unconscious after the shooting, then took McDermott’s handgun and gave it to a bar employee.
