(Minot, ND) — It appears the design of the flag for the City of Minot just doesn’t cut it anymore. A survey conducted in late 2022 by the North American Vexillogical Association surveyed more than a thousand scholars and flag enthusiasts about the design of over 300 flags. Minot’s flag was created in 2018 but the survey respondents didn’t even rate it a two out of ten. Mayor Tom Ross says the results of the survey reveals an opportunity to improve and a new design is in the works.
