(Bismarck, ND) — Members of North Dakota’s National Guard are being honored for their service at the U.S. southern border. The 957th Engineer Company was deployed to the U.S.-Mexico border under the direction of the U.S. Northern Command and Joint Task Force North. The mission was to assist U.S. Customs and Border Protection with detection and monitoring support. About 125 North Dakota Guard soldiers served on the year-long mission.
