(Minneapolis, MN) — The Twins still have a shot of re-signing shortstop Carlos Correa. The Athletic is reporting that the Twins have reached back out to Correa as he continues to negotiate with the New York Mets. The report claims that there is a “strong possibility” that the Twins poach Correa from New York. The free agent agreed to deals with the Giants and Mets this offseason, but both teams had concerns with his physical. Correa hit .291 with 22 home runs and 64 RBI last season.
