(St. Paul, MN) — The Twin Cities and parts of central and west-central Minnesota are under a poor air quality alert today. The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency issued the alert yesterday after minimal winds caused air pollution to settle in those areas. Air pollution levels have been rated as “unhealthy for sensitive groups” according to the state’s air quality map. The alert means people with asthma or respiratory illnesses should limit the time they spend outside and their physical exertion.
