Two Special Committees Created In MT Legislature

(Helena, MT) — Two special select committees are getting ready for work at the Montana State Capitol. Senate President Jason Ellsworth announced the committees on the Senate floor yesterday, one having to do with elections and the other focusing on redistricting. The elections special committee will begin working on Thursday. Lawmakers mentioned last month this committee will be looking to see if changes need to be made to systems and processes having to do with elections in the state. It’s unclear when the redistricting committee will start meeting.
