(Bismarck, ND) — The credit score for residents of North Dakota is on the rise. Quote Wizard by Lending Tree says today there is some improvement seen in North Dakotans’ credit scores between 2020 and 2021. The average individual credit score in the state in 2021 was 733 which was up from 730 in 2020. Officials say using stimulus payments to pay down debt and people spending less money influenced overall credit scores. Inflation is expected to negatively affect credit scores for 2022.
