(St. Paul, MN) — Governor Walz is pushing forward with a major tax cut bill. The governor signed a bipartisan bill providing 100-million dollars in tax cuts yesterday. The bill was the first to pass in the 2023 legislative session. It will update several provisions in the state’s tax code to conform with federal tax code for 2017 through 2022.
