Victim ID’d In Deadly Wreck In Lincoln Co.

(Lincoln Co., SD) — South Dakota Highway Patrol is identifying the woman killed in a two-car crash in Lincoln County. The accident happened New Year’s Eve at U.S. Highway 18 and South Dakota Highway 115, west of Canton. Troopers say a Saturn Vue and a Subaru Forester collided in the intersection. The 40-year-old woman driving the Subaru, Rebecca Earll, was pronounced dead at the scene. The 57-year-old man who was behind the wheel of the Saturn suffered life-threatening injuries. Charges are pending against him.
