(Pierre, SD) — Governor Kristi Noem wants to help preserve the state’s largest industry. She’s announcing a bill to protect agriculture, which accounts for one out of every five jobs in South Dakota. The bill adds additional liability protection for ag’ operations in case a nuisance claim is filed against them. The prime sponsors of the legislation are Representative James D. Wangsness and Senator Joshua Klumb.
