(Minneapolis, MN) — The Timberwolves may be putting their starting point guard on the trading block. Shams Charania is reporting that the Wolves are exploring trade options for D’Angelo Russell. Russell is set to be a free agent at the end of the season, and the report claims that Minnesota wants to go in a different direction at the point guard position. Charania’s report also says that the Wolves are interested in adding Jazz guard Mike Conley. Russell is averaging 17-point-one points per game in his fourth season with Minnesota.
