(Pierre, SD) — A Senate committee is advancing a bill that would make medical marijuana more accessible in South Dakota. The Senate’s Health and Human Services committee passed a bill yesterday morning that would make changes to the list of conditions eligible for medical cannabis use. The sole committee member voting against the bill says the state shouldn’t act in the place of the FDA when evaluating which conditions should be eligible for medical marijuana use.
