BCI: Mayville Man Under Investigation For Child Porn Killed Himself

(Mayville, ND) — More information is being released regarding the death of a Mayville man more than a week ago. On January 18th, 59-year-old Steve Volla died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Now it’s been revealed that the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation had a warrant to search Volla’s home related to a child pornography case. BCI says their investigation into Volla began back in November after a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
