(Pierre, SD) — Julie Frye-Mueller is speaking out following the suspension of her South Dakota Senate powers. She calls the suspension “egregious” and says that her district has been disenfranchised. Frye-Mueller was officially suspended Friday after allegations of inappropriate behavior and harassment inside the State Capitol Building of a Legislative Research Council staff member related to issues including childhood vaccines and breastfeeding. The Republican was elected to represent District 30.
