Mauer Makes Twins Hall Of Fame

(Minneapolis, MN) — Joe Mauer is being immortalized by the Twins franchise. The former MVP catcher was voted into the Twins Hall of Fame over the weekend. The Twins drafted the St. Paul native with the first-overall pick in 2001, and he made his MLB debut in 2004. Mauer spent his entire career with Minnesota, and was named the American League MVP in 2009. Mauer retired after the 2018 season. Mauer will be inducted into the team Hall of Fame on August 5th.
