Three Children Rescued After Nebraska Kidnapping

(Hastings, NE) — Three children are rescued following a kidnapping. Grand Island police say that a Chevy Traverse was stolen from the 14-hundred-block of North Wheeler yesterday with three children ages five, one and seven months inside. Authorities tracked the stolen vehicle to Buffalo County where they took 18-year-old Tate Wolfe and a 17-year-old into custody for kidnapping, intentional child abuse resulting in injury and flight to avoid arrest. The five-year-old and one-year-old were later found in a vehicle reported stolen out of Kearney, and the infant was later found abandoned outside a farmhouse in Hall County.
