Wild Beat Sabres In Shootout

(St. Paul, MN) — The Wild snapped Buffalo’s five-game winning streak with a 3-2 shootout win at the Xcel Energy Center on Saturday. Freddy Gaudreau knocked in the game-winning shootout goal in the third round of the shootout after Marc-Andre Fleury stonewalled Jack Quinn. Joel Eriksson Ek and Jared Spurgeon both scored in regulation of the victory. The Wild are in third-place in the Central Division with 58 points and a 27-17-and-4 record. The Wild next play the Coyotes on February 6th.
