Vikings Lose Out On Two Defensive Coordinators

(Eagan, MN) — The Minnesota Vikings list of defensive coordinator candidates was involuntarily trimmed down over the weekend. Seahawks defensive assistant Sean Desai withdrew from consideration, and former Broncos defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero was hired by the Carolina Panthers. Former Dolphins head coach Brian Flores and current Vikings defensive assistant Mike Pettine are Minnesota’s two remaining known candidates for the DC job. In other Vikings news, Kirk Cousins threw three touchdowns in the third game of the Pro Bowl flag football game to lead the NFC to a 35-33 victory.
