Wolves Crush Short-Handed Nuggets

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Timberwolves never trailed as they coasted to a 128-98 win over the Denver Nuggets at the Target Center. The Timberwolves led by 34 points in the game, although the Nuggets were without Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray. Anthony Edwards led Minnesota with 20 points, while D’Angelo Russell had 18 points and ten assists. The Wolves have won two of three, and they’re in seventh-place in the Western Conference with a 29-and-27 record. Minnesota visits Denver tomorrow night. In other Timberwolves news, Austin Rivers was suspended three games for his role in the Timberwolves fight against the Orlando Magic on Friday night.
