(Denver, CO) — The Timberwolves were embarrassed during the first quarter of their 146-112 loss to the Denver Nuggets at Ball Arena. Minnesota led by one in the middle of the opening frame, but the team surrendered a 24-0 run and trailed 49-19 heading into the second. The Wolves trailed by as much as 40 in the losing effort. Luka Garza and Anthony Edwards both scored 19 points. Minnesota has dropped two of three. The T-Wolves are in ninth-place in the Western Conference with a 29-and-28 record. They visit Utah tonight.
