Timberwolves Fall to Grizzlies

(MEMPHIS, TN) – The Mike Conley era in Minnesota got off to a rocky start on Friday night as the Timberwolves fell on the road 128-107 against the Memphis Grizzlies. Jaylen Nowell had 21 points and Anthony Edwards had 17 for Minnesota.

Conley, who was traded to the team earlier in the week in the De’Angelo Russell deal, had 9 points in the losing effort. Ja Morant led the way for Memphis with 32 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists.

Minnesota has the weekend off before facing the Dallas Mavericks on the road Monday night. The Timberwolves record stands at 30-29 overall.
