Chiefs Win Super Bowl 57 Over Eagles

(Glendale, AZ) — The Kansas City Chiefs are once again champions. The Chiefs beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 in Super Bowl 57 from Glendale, Arizona. KC erased a 24-14 halftime deficit as Harrison Butker nailed the 24-yard game winning field goal with just eight seconds left in the game. Patrick Mahomes threw for 182 yards, three touchdowns and rushed for 44 yards including a key 26-yard scramble to set up the game-winning kick.

Mahomes was awarded Most Valuable Player of the big game. This is the second Super Bowl MVP for Mahomes after he won the honor when the Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 54. Mahomes joins Bart Starr, Terry Bradshaw, Eli Manning, Joe Montana and Tom Brady as the sixth player in NFL history to win multiple Super Bowl MVP awards.

It’s the second time in four years the Chiefs have won the Super Bowl. Jalen Hurts threw for 304 yards and a touchdown. The Eagles quarterback also tied a Super Bowl record with three rushing touchdowns.
