One Dead After High Speed Crash, Explosion Rapid City Home

(Rapid City, SD) — A driver is dead and two others are injured after crashing into a Rapid City home. The crash happened Friday morning in the 14-hundred block of Digest Drive and led to an explosion and fire. Four people were inside the house at the time. Crews say the fire extended into a neighboring residence and threatened a third house. The neighborhood was temporarily evacuated. The incident remains under investigation.
