School Security Bill Passes North Dakota House

(Bismarck, ND) — An amended bill aimed at creating a reporting system for school safety data is headed to the North Dakota Senate. The bill passed the state House yesterday. It would require districts to submit an annual report about how much money they spent on school safety during the previous school year. Lawmakers say the bill would allow the state to gather and analyze data to determine school safety issues.
