(Daytona Beach, FL) — Austin Cindric will try to defend his Daytona 500 crown when the drivers battle in the iconic race this weekend. The field was set after the Duels at Daytona finished Thursday night with Joey Logano winning the first qualifier while Aric Almirola claimed victory in the second heat. Cindric came in second in Duel 2. Denny Hamlin was the last repeat champion back in 2019.
