(Bismark, ND) — The North Dakota House is moving forward with a bill that would make it easier for presidents at Bismarck State College and Dickinson State University to dismiss tenured faculty. The bill calls for a four-year pilot project. The bill’s sponsor says the measure would ensure tenured faculty are meeting obligations and continuing to serve the mission of their institutions. The measure is headed to the state Senate.
